Mr Santanu Dash born in 10th of July 1981. He has completed his Post Graduation in Psychology after that he has completed his M.B.A in Human Resource. During the college period he has completed his B.F.A Painting from Prachin kala Kendra , Chandigarh. Mr. Dash inspired from his father i.e Shri Bhabagrahi Dash who is a Retired Banker. He established Chitrashala with the help of his family member i.e his mother Smt. Kamini Dash & younger brother Mr. Tushar Dash. In the flow of time Mrs. Sagarika Dash, Wife of Mr. Santanu Dash has been involved in managing the institution.


Shri. Padmanava Mishra: born at Sonepur Raj on 1st October 1940, had a special craze for nature observation. It shaped his fancy to draw & paint from his childhood. A 4-year Diploma-holder in Arts and Crafts from Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan in 1966, soon flowed into a unique artist with a mind to delve into the delicate ineffable mysteries of the profane and the sacred. He served as an Artist-cum-Photographer in the deptt. Of Botany, Gangadhar Meher College (Autonomous) from 1967-1998.During this tenure he made special attempts to start the deptt. of Fine-Art in the college to impart Fine-Art education to numerous students. He also founded an institute of Fine-Art, “Chitrabhumi” (Affiliated to Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh) in Sambalpur in the year 1991.Thousands of students have successfully completed Diploma and Degree courses from this institute in all these years. Summary of Exhibitions:
First State level art exhibition was held on the occasion of Oriya Yuva Lekhak Sammelan, 5th convention, Bolangir.This was graced by Dr. Karan Singh, Shri Kamleshwar and Shri Umakant Malaviya.
Sri. Bholanath Nayak, Senior Art Teacher & Advisor of Chitrashala , Sambalpur. He is one of the legendry artists in Orissa and highly recognised for his depth of Knowledge in the field of Art, Culture and Literature. He was born in 1937 , had his education in fine art after passing matriculation examination from Orissa, from Kala Bhaawan Biswa Bharati University, Shantiniketan in the year 1960.He served as artist and photographer in botany department of G.M Collage from 1960 to 1966. Apart from Doing decoration work for various functions in G.M College he painted the portraits of four great scientist in oil, then he join Kendriya Vidyalaya in 1967 and after serving thirty years retired in the year 1997. He has also painted four portraits in oil of four great personalities of Western Orissa for the history museum of Sambalpur University.He is always fascinated by the glory of Nature, Portrait of different characters have always inspired him. From his childhood , he has been painting portraits from photographs and Models and land scape of different places have always attracted him and he has taken photographs of those places of scenic beauty for his raw materials for paintings. He likes the Brush Work of Vangogh, Renoir , Claude Monet and Sezanne Particularly Impressionist and expressionist paintings have always inspired him for their use of colour and vigorous brush works.
